Kimberla Lawson Roby is a New York Times Best-Selling Author & Inspirational Speaker. She has published 27 books, speaks straight from her heart and has a strong passion for helping women become all that God has created them to be. She is a professional member of the National Speaker’s Association (NSA), the 2013 NAACP Image Award Winner for Outstanding Literary Work – Fiction, and she has sold more than 2.8 Million copies of her books. Kimberla has been featured in numerous magazines and newspaper publications such as the The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Essence, Ebony, upscale, Writer's Digest and The Writer to name a few. She is also the author of the popular Reverend Curtis Black Series, which has been optioned by a film production company for television, and in 1996, after receiving numerous rejection letters from both literary agents and publishers, she founded her own company Lenox Press.
